Effective Communication is the Beginning. Communication is a 2 way street, not a dictatorship.
People give a lot of credit to dogs for being man's best friend. I believe this is because people don't have any trouble reading a dog's body language. They are easy. You know when they are happy, submissive, mischievous, playful, naughty, or angry or scared. 
The funny thing is, horses are all that dogs are, and MORE! It's just a little more difficult to read the body language of horses, but it is not impossible.
Our ranch is all about communication. We also stress the importance of keeping it fun! It's not all about winning, or competition, or beating the clock. It's all about communication, imagination and mutual respect. Developing a partnership with a willing, happy horse partner.
Our horses love to be caught! They catch us .
